almost makes the job bearable

sometimes at work, just like you, i'm waiting on something and can't leave. today, during such a wait, i saw that kc, my 9 year old son, was online in google chat, so i decided to holla:

nothing much
just bored
but can't leave work yet
KC: man that sucks
me: could be worse
KC: hey you want to watch karate kid tonight
me: sure
the old one?
KC: yep
me: yeah

what are you guys up to?

KC: nothing
me: has mom started cooking dinner?
KC: she sure has

me: how was swim team?
KC: great
me: see friends?
KC: only morgan

well, that's a good thing
KC: any thing goood happen for you
me: mmmmm... same old thing, really
lots of meetings today
most of it was pretty boring, normal stuff
KC: oh
well i hope things get better
me: thanks, man... see you in a few minutes
